Natal Moon in Scorpio
Do you know where the Moon was during the time you are born? If your Moon was in the emotional Scorpio, you need to read this article.
I want to share that I have a few friends and clients with the emotional Scorpio moon in their Natal chart. To be honest, it is the most secretive and unexpressed moon. These folks have tendency to hide their emotions and feelings, they do not express them, they don’t share them. They don’t trust no one, also, they do not want to expose themselves and others to know about their emotions. They are cool people, you will never see this unhappy expression on their face. They are looking to find solutions to their problems, as they are drinking alcohol or using drugs. Scorpio is fixed, stubborn sign, they don’t like changes, for this reason, they do not make efforts to solve the issue, to leave their partner, they have tendency to stay in this difficult situation and to suffer silently. Because of their unspoken feelings, many of them are depressed, gloomy, and after few unhappy years, they develop psychological problems that often lead to psychosomatic even physician pain and diseases.
Expressing our feelings when we have Scorpio Natal Moon
We need to embrace Vulnerability, to accept that we have weakness, to understand why we have these heavy emotions. Instead of shying away from intense emotions, we need embrace them. We need to acknowledge our feelings, no matter how uncomfortable they may be. Emotional honesty with yourself and others is vital.
Some psychologist said, that engaging in deep meaningful conversation can help them. May be, may be not, if they can help, it will take long time to get to the core of the issue.
In words, it is easy to say the above, but how easy it is to express themselves? These folks don’t trust most of the people, neither, they belief in their family, they think that if they open to others, they will show their weakness and others will not respect them anymore.
From my experience, during the time when I had expressive arts classes and session, I noticed that these who are most secretive open easily during the time when they write or paint their emotions.
I have client with very difficult moon in Scorpio, with negative aspects to her Sun and Pluto. Fortunately, she had Venus in the creative sign of Taurus. I encouraged her to start painting her emotions. The first few months she sent me very depressing pictures: dark colors, rough sea with big waves, dark flags, stormy, turbulent sky, black roses, a twisted, bent tree, devoid of leaves, stands to one side, its branches reaching out like skeletal fingers clawing at the sky.
I work with her for a few month, as I try to help her express more and more. I asked her to write me a letter and express what she feels, to paint her feelings every time she has time. It took more than a six when I start to see pictures with red and yellow colors in her pictures. In her poem, she still expressed her longing for love and closeness, her strong desires and passion. It was a long prosses, but she was able to find out and share what make her depressed and why she suffered so much. Finding what she is looking for was different story.
What is the most important here was to express and deal with these turbulent emotions that did not give her a peace. Slowly, she start to change her emotional state and start to work on her deep desire, as she made a plans for few adjustments in her life.
Transformative Practices & Channeling Passion
Remember, Scorpio is the most passionate sign, if they have opportunity, they will express their emotion by having sex.
Practices such as journaling, therapy, or meditation can help the process and release buried emotions. Scorpio’s influence supports shedding old emotional patterns and emerging renewed. I just want to advise when you choose the music for the mediation for these folks, as the music can be can be „double-edged sword“. Remember, if they have strong emotions, as “ turbulent sky” and “stormy ocean”, the soft lyric music will make them nervous, they may run or scream. You need a fast music, with the same heart bits, as the client has, this can make them feel better, they can even start dancing and releasing their emotions.
Scorpio is a sign of passion and intensity. They need to channel this energy into creative or physical outlets. Whether through art, writing, or physical activity, expressing their emotions through action can be incredibly therapeutic.
Embracing the Shadow
One of Scorpio’s key lessons is embracing the shadow self – the parts of us we often hide or deny. Here, we need a safe environment, a trusted friend or therapist without judgment so we can open and talk about our pain, our weakness and honestly share our feelings. Understanding and integrating our shadow can lead to greater self-awareness and emotional freedom.
If you have Moon in Scorpio, you need to start practicing expressing your deep feeling and emotions. By embracing vulnerability, engaging in deep conversations, and channeling your passion, you can navigate this intense energy with grace.
