A full Moon in Aries occurs this Wednesday, October 20 at 27º of Aries at 7:57am. Actually, the moon entered Aries at 3.04 am Monday morning. We will experience very strong emotions during these days, we may have desire to fight, to act, to be warrior, as Aries is headstrong signs who likes battle and wish to win. Aries is impulsive, fire sign who wants to be first and who wants to get attention and see quick result. The Moon will stay in Aries Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, then, Thursday, it will move to Taurus. Still, we will feel the effect of this Full Moon until the next New Moon in Scorpio- October 03.2021.
We need to look at the planetary configurations to understand this powerful Full Moon and to know how to act, as many may decide to jump and combat for their freedom or their heart desire. It is ok, just make sure, we understand who is the opponent or the associate we confront with and what to expect from this competition.
Early morning, the same day before the Full moon occurs, the Moon squares (clashes) with powerful slow moving planet Pluto. Is it safe to fight with Pluto, the underworld lord? What are our chances to win such of difficult battle? A few hours later, the Moon in Aries opposite the Sun in Libra, the relationship sign and the Full moon occurs (Full Moon at 7:57 am), with Pluto’s elevated influence squaring both, the moon in Aries and the Sun in Libra and leaving permanent imprint on the energy. Don’t run; this is the time for revelations and finding our truth.
Mars the planet of motivation and action is the planetary ruler of Aries, and in this scenario is aligned with the Sun in Libra, which means it is also opposing the Moon and creating a conflicting square with Pluto.
The aspect between Mars and Pluto is in perfect alignment ton Thursday, 21st and we will notice the tension building both days, Wednesday and Thursday. Keeping the peace at home and in relationships is a challenge with Mars in Libra squaring Pluto. It is a challenging aspect.
Probably nobody on the planet enjoys Mars square Pluto. It can feel compulsive and domineering and competition can quickly escalate into a not so pretty picture. When we feel dissatisfied or blocked, surrender and proposal are not options. We’ll force the lock open or break down the door before realizing we are simply using the incorrect key.
It’s much easier to blame others for their part in the conflict and for what we recognize is their offense to us.
Better look at the underlying dynamic. If we are responsible for our unhappiness or lack of peace, then, we have turned our power over to others. Do we really want to become experts how you are victimized?
It may be hard to avoid disagreements and conflict during this time, but we can be pro-active and self-aware; to recognize disappointments without judgment. Second, we need to take responsibility for our expectations and actions and prioritize what’s worth fighting for. Next, we need to understand and believe this is temporary. We can turn any obstacle into a beneficial turning point. Although it may not seem like the right path, with Mars in Libra it might be worth our while to think about the value of vulnerability, compromise and modesty.
Jupiter in friendly Aquarius (also in the same picture) gives a big assist by reminding us the action is in the here and now. We change the future by chancing our thoughts and minds during the Full Moon. Re-interpreting delays and obstacles as opportunities will help us to realize the alternate paths available to us. Jupiter’s positive alignment with Sun, Moon, and Mars very likely creates blessings in mask and costume. Keep your eyes and hearts open. Be patient, compassion and cooperative, considering your partnerships.
Never give up and don’t forget why you will not. Just remember, it may be hard to avoid disagreements and conflict, but we can be pro-active. First be self-aware; recognize disappointments without judgment. Second, take responsibility for your expectations and actions and prioritize what’s worth fighting for.
“Everyone has oceans to fly if they have the heart to do it. Is it reckless? Maybe. But what do dreams know of boundaries? Decide whether or not the goal is worth the risks involved. If it is, stop worrying.” (Amelia Earhart – Natal Mars square Pluto)
