During March, we have a chance to clear the past, rethink everything, and prepare for the future. New beginnings are also possible, often connected with previous work, projects, or people from the past. It is an exciting month with two eclipses: a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo and a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries.
Venus Retrograde
The month starts with Venus retrograde in courageous and warrior-like Aries at 10 degrees. Venus entered Aries on February 4, 2025, and will stay there until June 6, 2025. However, due to its retrograde cycle, Venus will move back to Pisces from March 28 to May 1, 2025. Then, from May 1 to June 6, 2025, Venus will return to Aries.
During its retrograde in Aries until March 27, Venus faces challenges as Aries is a sign of war and competition, ruled by Mars, which is known for its fast-paced and energetic nature. On March 28, Venus goes back to Pisces, where it is exalted, representing its best position. Venus in Pisces helps to change the mood and actions, bringing compassion and artistic qualities.
During the time of Venus retrograde, do not start a new relationship, new business. You can go back to your ex-boyfriend or partnership but watch out what will happen when Venus go Direct. Then, you will know if the relationships are worth continuing and bring to the next level or to split again. Don’t get married! NO! Big NO! Don’t do any new drastic aesthetic procedure in connection with beauty and tatus as you may feel sorry later. Do not borrow money, Venus rules love, money, beauty, relationships.
Mercury Retrograde in Aries
Mercury, the planet of communication and problem-solving, will also be retrograde in March. The month starts with Mercury in Pisces, then moves to courageous Aries on March 4. Mercury goes retrograde on March 15 and will move direct on April 7, 2025.
When Mercury goes retrograde in Aries, its usual forward-moving energy slows down, and its influence turns inward. Here’s how this retrograde manifests:
Revisiting Past Actions: Aries’ action-oriented nature may feel frustrated during Mercury retrograde. This is a time to pause, reflect, and reassess decisions rather than charging ahead.
Communication Hiccups: Expect miscommunications, impulsive statements, or misunderstandings. Aries’ directness combined with Mercury’s retrograde energy can lead to unintended conflicts.
Reworking Plans: Retrogrades are ideal for revisiting and refining ideas or projects. In Aries, this might involve rethinking bold initiatives or strategies.
Patience is Key: Aries thrives on quick action, but Mercury retrograde demands patience. It’s a time to slow down and ensure that plans are well thought out before execution.
Opportunities for Growth: Use this period to reflect on how you assert yourself in communication and decision-making. It’s a chance to refine your approach and align it with long-term goals.
In March 2025, Mercury retrograde begins in Aries on March 15 and transitions back into Pisces on March 29, ending on April 7. This retrograde period is particularly potent as it coincides with eclipses, amplifying its transformative energy. It’s a time to embrace introspection, refine your strategies, and prepare for a fresh start once Mercury goes direct.
Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo
On March 14, we will witness a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 23 degrees of Virgo. Virgo is connected with health, service, and perfectionism. This is the first Virgo eclipse in a series that will continue in the fall of 2025 and spring of 2026. We had one eclipse at the end of September 2024, it was Full Moon in Pisces. To understand the influence of these eclipses, look back 19 years to 2006 and 2007, when eclipses were also in Virgo and Pisces.
Virgo Eclipses: South Node – Releasing, Refining, and Healing
Virgo eclipses focus on the themes of practicality, service, health, and organization. With the South Node in Virgo, the energy encourages us to revisit and release outdated habits, perfectionist tendencies, and rigid thinking. Here’s what they’re for and what to work on during Virgo eclipses:
What They’re For:
Reflection on Productivity: Virgo teaches us to evaluate how we manage our time, tasks, and responsibilities. Are you overburdening yourself with too much detail or control?
Health and Wellness: These eclipses emphasize taking care of your physical and mental well-being. It’s a good time to address health routines, diets, or work-life balance.
Service and Purpose: Virgo represents being of service to others and finding fulfillment in purposeful work. Reflect on how you contribute to your community or help others.
What to Work On:
Letting Go of Perfectionism: Release the need to micromanage or seek unattainable perfection.
Organizing Your Life: Clear out clutter—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Streamline your routines and create systems that serve you.
Healing and Self-Care: Focus on stress relief, health check-ups, or starting new wellness practices.
Pisces Eclipses: North Node – Intuition, Compassion, and Spiritual Growth
Pisces eclipses are deeply spiritual and creative, linked with the North Node, which signifies growth, evolution, and moving into the future. Pisces energy invites us to connect with our intuition, dreams, and emotional sensitivity.
What They’re For:
Spiritual Awakening: These eclipses encourage exploring your inner world, aligning with your higher self, or reconnecting with a spiritual practice.
Unleashing Creativity: Pisces is a sign of imagination and artistry. It’s a perfect time to dive into creative pursuits like art, music, or writing.
Compassionate Connection: Pisces inspires kindness and empathy, encouraging us to cultivate deeper connections with ourselves and others.
What to Work On:
Embracing Vulnerability: Allow yourself to feel and process emotions. This is a time for healing through acceptance and release.
Trusting Your Intuition: Practice listening to your gut instincts and following your inner guidance.
Letting Go of Illusions: Pisces can also bring tendencies to escape reality. Work on grounding yourself while navigating your dreams and aspirations.
Virgo and Pisces Together: Balance Between Practicality and Spirituality
With eclipses in both Virgo (South Node) and Pisces (North Node), the overarching lesson is to find balance: Virgo energy asks you to release control, simplify, and refine your daily life. Pisces energy invites you to dream, trust, and embrace the bigger picture.
This combination is a call to integrate structure and faith, routine and flow, logic and intuition. The Virgo-Pisces axis pushes us to let go of fear-based actions from the past (Virgo South Node) and step into a more compassionate, intuitive future (Pisces North Node).
The North Node is in Pisces, and the South Node is in Virgo. The South Lunar Node is connected to the past, while the North Node is karmic, linked with our mission, progress, and evolution. As the Virgo eclipse is on the South Node, it points to past actions. This full moon is a time to clear our path, let go, release the old and broken, and prepare for the future where we learn, grow, and develop.
New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries
At the end of the month, on March 29, we have a New Moon Solar Eclipse at 8 degrees in Aries. The Aries/Libra eclipses started in April 2023, and this will be the last one from this group. Eclipses bring surprises and unexpected events, helping us move in the right direction. Sometimes, we remain stagnant and afraid to make decisions, but eclipses can bring sudden events that clear the road and push us forward.
Key words for the Solar Eclipse in Aries:
Bold Beginnings: Embrace new beginnings.
Courage: Summon inner strength and step out of your comfort zone.
Challenges: Be prepared for potential challenges.
Have a happy March and enjoy the ride!
