Mercury started its Retro cycle today in the sign of Capricorn. It is going Direct on January 2.2024, but it will be in its shadow until January 20.24. We call “shadow”, the time until when Mercury return to the same point/degree when it started the retro cycle which is at 7 degrees of Capricorn. Mercury will get back to Sagittarius on December 24 and continue to stay there until January 15, when Mercury enters Capricorn again. Then, on January 20, Mercury will be at 7 degrees of Capricorn and by February 6 it will move to the sign of Aquarius.
Mercury rules communications, transportation and traveling. Capricorn is an earth, practical, productive, realistic, serious, career and structure-oriented sign. We need to reevaluate where we stand in the social and career ladder, our career and ambitions goals. What we want to achieve and where we want to be in 2024. December is a holiday month, we don’t have to worry and take action, we need to relax and enjoy our family and friends, at the same time, to research, evaluate, think of new projects and make plans for the New year ahead based on our values and desires. Pluto have to finish what he started 15 years ago, before he change the sign, it is significant important time, on personal, as well on worldwide level. A new structure will take place in many levels and places, especially where Capricorn is involved, including family, career or government structures. What is not working is going to be destroyed and new structure to be built in 2024.
