Uranus is known as the planet of revolution and rebellion. It brings change on a grand scale. When in Taurus (its least favorite sign to be in), it creates change around the foundations that we have built our lives on. Structures fall, the way we invest our money and source our food is radically different than before, and relationships evolve and grow in different ways.
The planet of freedom, innovation and revolution, Uranus was Retrograde since August 20.2021. Uranus was now moved Direct on January 19.2022, at 10.49 degrees of Taurus.
During Retro cycle, the revolutionary energy of Uranus was directed inward, look like the planet was in it is “rest” cycle and is not active. Venus is retro until January 29 and Mercury retro until February 04. This time is not very positive and active, as these Retro planets effect Uranus, too. This time we feel uncertainty, chaos, challenges, confusion, we are pushed in different direction!
The fixed signs will be feeling Uranus retrograde the most. This means that the signs Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius will be making major transformative changes that will have their worlds shaken up for the better (although it won’t feel like that at first).
The good news is, Uranus started to move direct on January 19.2022, now, we can expect things to finally start happening. We are now ready for the changes to manifest because we had to order some ideas and get real with some aspects of our self so we would be able to handle success in new areas without losing our head.

When Uranus moves direct, we are ready to take action and the physical manifestations are more likely to take place. This planet rules liberation, being independent, as well as awakenings. Uranus is not experienced as a beneficial or harmful, but rather a neutral. However, if Uranus throws a curveball your way that asks for change and you decide to go against its wishes, it will act in a negative way. As Uranus turns direct, the Lunar Nodes change signs for the first time since May 6, 2020. The North Node leaves Gemini and ingresses into Taurus while simultaneously the South Node leaves Sagittarius and shifts into Scorpio until July 18, 2023. The next 1 ½ year will be under the influence of Taurus and Scorpio themes. Taurus and Scorpio points to nature, housing, shared resources, values, finances, and tangible possessions.
Things to remember while the South Node is in Scorpio: You must release the need to manipulate outcomes in situations because you are afraid of change. Finding strength within yourself to be able to stand on your own two feet will benefit you during this transit greatly. More we resist the change; more difficult it will be. Uranus lesson is to have freedom and be liberated. If we keep staying in in the same place and struggle to make the necessary change, Uranus will push us to the corner and make us sick, or if we don’t express that enormous energy and channel it in creative project, we may feel irritated and angry to the level that we can burst, have accident or just fall and break a leg.
